Jason Frank is an assistant professor of government at Cornell University. He is coeditor of Vocations of Political Theory (2000) and is currently completing a book manuscript on constituent power and democratic sensibility provisionally entitled “Democratic Enactment: Passion and Improvisation in Postrevolutionary America.�
