Jean Comaroff is Bernard E. and Ellen C. Sunny Distinguished Service Professor of Anthropology at the University of Chicago and honorary professor of anthropology at the University of Cape Town. Her publications include Body of Power, Spirit of Resistance (1985) and, with John L. Comaroff, Of Revelation and Revolution, vol. 1 (1991) and vol. 2 (1997); Millennial Capitalism and the Culture of Neoliberalism (2002); and Law and Disorder in the Postcolony (2006).
