Rosalind C. Morris is Professor of Anthropology and Associate Director of the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society at Columbia University. She is currently working on a book about value and violence in South Africa's mining communities, to be titled Accidental Histories, and a collection of essays entitled Thailand in the World.
