Andrea Muehlebach is an assistant professor of anthropology at the University of Toronto. She writes and teaches on the relationship among the economic, ethical, and political, as well as on statecraft, citizenship, affect, and labor. She is working on a book tentatively titled The Moral Neoliberal: Welfare State and Ethical Citizenship in Contemporary Italy.
