Dominique Malaquais

Dominigue Malaquais is a senior researcher at the Centre d’études des mondes africains, Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). With artist-activist Kadiatou Diallo, she directs SPARCK (Space for Pan-African Research, Creation and Knowledge; the Africa Centre, Cape Town, South Africa), a transdisciplinary program of residencies, publications, performances, and exhibitions dedicated to exploring radical takes on urban spaces and cultures across the African world. She is an associate editor of Chimurenga Magazine and sits on the editorial board of Politique africaine.
